Music Gloop
Music Gloop
Late into the evening, slimes and jellies from across the land all gather in the Pudding Cup, all excited for the main event. Please welcome to the stage . . . The Music Gloop!
Music Gloop is a game about staging grand performances of gloops, musical slimes who love to sing and play instruments.
The player goes through levels with each one having a higher and higher score threshold.
The gloops all have unique abilities that score points when they sing. The player needs to create harmonies of their gloops to beat each level, unlocking new gloops and swapping their current gloops as they progress.
How good are you managing your band?
How to play
Controls
- Left Click and drag gloops from the right and place them on the grid to get ready for the performance.
- Right Click on a placed gloop to pick it up from the stage.
- When you're all set, press play to start the concert!
- Press Space (or tap touchscreen) to use the Loops you've gathered to loop back once a section ends.
Game Goals
- Create a mix of Harmonies and Melodies
- Create different music by stacking the sounds of different music gloops
Inspiration & Design
Our main inspritation was Balatro! In its current state, it's missing a lot of features that we planned to have. You can check out our Game Design Document below to see details about our initial plan and more details on the various design choices.
